We were traveling along the North Atlantic in and around Cape Cod. We stayed at a place called the Timber Frame Cottage in Plymouth, Massachusetts and got our dinner on our first night there from the lobster pound down the road. This two pounder was delicious. We ate him “in-the-rough” which means boiled and dipped in drawn butter. No frills other than a very fine bottle of Spanish sparkling wine. We dined alfresco with a view of the Gurnet Lighthouse in Plymouth Bay. The Gurnet is the oldest freestanding wooden lighthouse in America.
